10 Things to Smile About

After I made my first post of the day, I came across 10 Things to Smile About with Emmy Mom and decided I wanted to join in!





1.  We went to see Ray LaMontagne and it was amazing.  If you've never heard Ray, please listen here:

2.   Maggie started refusing purees and is eating most of what we eat, in very small portions, my big girl!

3.  PJ says "That's cool."

4.  Maggie is cruising and has started to say Mama.

5.  I had an interview and testing with my old firm and hopefully will be getting offered a job back there before this month is actually over!

6.  Had a great date night with good friends at McCormick and Schmick's, where I ordered a fish dinner for the first time -- Wild Whitefish - and it was amazing,

7.  One of my oldest and best friends is pregnant after losing her baby at 20 weeks due to an infection in the placenta.  Everything is looking great and my fingers are crossed for her.  So happy!!

8.   I go on vacation in three glorious days.

9.  Grilling.  We grill pretty much every day in the summer and I love it so much.

10.  PJ walking (not being in the cart or stroller) when we're out and about.  And behaving!

    This was a great list!! I love Ray LaMontagne- not as much as I love Adele, but his concert probably wasn't the cost of a mortgage payment either....

    Yea! Thanks for linking up!! Glad you did. And very great list. I don't think there is hardly anything cuter than when babies start cruising and walking-though it also means they are about to start getting into a lot more things ;)
    I love it when they start eating normal food and you don't have to bring along ten million more things when you go out.

    I just downloaded that song to my iPod...one of my former employees danced his first wedding dance with his wife to this song...I think it's perfect for a wedding :) Look at your big girl go! :)

    I love grilling too! It is just hard when I'm the only parent around and two little ones. So I cook more than I'd like :-/

    I never did purees with Alice. We just started with what we ate.
