The Snowpocalypse, Maggie's Christening, and Baby Crack Machine

How's that for a post title?  Ha.  We got a lot of fricking snow.  Okay.  I'm talking major snow like I've never seen before.  We did manage to take PJ out on the sled for a little while.

Maggie's christening was Sunday.  She was a doll for the entire thing.  Her big brother has had a fever on and off the past few days, so he was a little cranky at the end, but nothing terrible.  It was the first event without John's dad.  It was a little sad, but our minister said something about him and that was nice.

Here's my pretty girl in her Christening outfit.

Speaking of my pretty girl, she's waking up 3 times a night to eat.  Weird.  She hasn't done that since she was super little.  I am assuming she NEEDS to eat, because she eats for a decent amount of time.  I don't mind getting up, but I would like it to at least go down to twice a night!  Especially since if she wakes between 4-5:30 she stays up for awhile.  She seems to love the environmental sounds of her mobile, but it only stays on for 20 minutes.  So I ordered the baby crack machine today which will stay on indefinitely.  I am hoping it will help her sleep longer between feedings.  PJ still wakes up at least once a night and it never fails that they seem to be up at the same time, so I need something here.

She'll be four months old next week and I am excited about starting to give her cereal.  A lot of people say to wait till 6 months for food, but we started PJ on cereal at 4 months and he did great.  I am hoping it will help ease some of her hunger.  Of course, she is nearly 4 months, so she could be going through a growth spurt.

PJ has a terrible cough and runny nose, and fever on and off, poor guy.  He's nearly two so we can actually give him other things besides infant Tylenol, which is good so hopefully it will help him feel better.  I hate when my little ones get sick, I wish I could just take it all away.  Hopefully he'll get better by Monday, at least no more fevers.  He's still pretty happy though, my happiness.

I've started singing My Girl to Maggie and she cracks up.  She thinks it's sooo funny.  I can always get her to smile and laugh at me.  I love her little laugh.

Hope you are all safe and not snowed in.
