So, I'd like to move Brad Paisley to #1 on my list AND I hate teething.

You know, the list of people you can sleep with and your spouse won't get mad.

I love Brad.  LOVE.  I've seen him three times now.  He is AMAZING LIVE.  Seriously, the greatest concert I have ever seen.

Disclaimer:  I don't ONLY listen to country music, so all of you out there who hate country music, you need to give a listen to "Alcohol."  The song is told from the point of view of alcohol.  It really doesn't get much better than that.

So we saw him Saturday night.   First time we saw him, we had fourth row.

Second time not so close.

And this time not so close.

BUT LORD HELP ME.

There was a platform set up.

SIX ROWS IN FRONT OF US.

And he came and played on that platform, he came and was about 15 feet away from so I could see the sparkle in his eyes, and which strings he was playing on his guitar.

Oh and the way his biceps looked under the sleeves of his t-shirt.

Unreal.

As for the teething?  PJ is getting his two year molars.  At least, that's the only thing I can think of considering he's woken up the past three nights crying uncontrollably and you can tell he's in pain.  I feel terrible for him.  He points to his cheek a lot which is another reason I think it's the molars.

HELP ME.  Please tell me the two year molar thing gets better?  I bet it doesn't.  It's worse isn't it??

Also, for the love of all that is holy, Maggie, please stop waking up 2-3 times a night.  You are going to be weaning soon darling and that booby isn't going to be there for you to go back to sleep.

Mama still loves you though.

  3. Oh, the poor little guy with teething. I've heard about amber necklaces, but don't really know how effective they are.

Very cool about the concert! I imagine that's how I'd feel about Bono. My hubs told me that if Bono ever asked me out, he'd drive us on our date.

  4. Can you believe that after 11 years in Florida and plenty of friends who ended up in equine practice that I still wouldn't know Brad Paisley if he fell on top of me? But I can relate to seeing your favorite band and getting close. What a rush!!

RE: the molars. I got nuthin'. Ada has been hooking her fingers in the back of the mouth and wincing for weeks now. Of course, she won't let us look and I don't see any little chicklets back there when she yawns so....yeah, no end in sight although I am reassured that it ends eventually.
