I'm sorry I haven't been around much at all for the past year or so.

I'm not going to bore you with reasons.  If you follow my blog you can probably figure it out.  I am starting to get the itch to blog again so please keep coming around.

A quick recap.

PJ started preschool.  After a rough couple weeks, he's doing awesomely.  He loves school and he has made a lot of new friends.

Maggie is potty training.  She's doing very well.

Last Sunday was the one year anniversary of my mom's passing.  We celebrated her life and memory by having a party.  Many of her friends, co-workers and of course family came over and we laughed and spent what could have been a sad day happily reminiscing and enjoying each other's company.

Which is what she would have wanted.

I don't want this to be a sad post. 

So here's a funny story.

PJ decided to tell Maggie how you go pee on the potty.

"Okay Mags.  This is how you go pee on the potty.  FIRST, you sit on the toilet.  TWO, you go pee.  THREE, you flush the toilet."

"That's very good buddy, but girls also have to wipe."

PJ thinks about this for a minute.  "I don't have to wipe."

"No, buddy, you're a boy, boys don't have to wipe when they go pee.  They have weiners."

Thinks again.  "I'm a boy.  Boys have weiners.  I have a weiner.  Daddy has a weiner. I have a big weiner.  Daddy has a big weiner."
