Friday Frenzy

I have a whole bunch of stuff to say and it doesn't really relate, so there ya go.

First of all, my baby girl is 8 months old today.   My gorgeous girl.  Standing.  Trying to cruise.  Eating.  Being adorable every single day.

I had a job interview this morning.  The job was perfect.  Absolutely perfect. 

Until they told me the vacation time.

One week.  Two weeks after two years.

I currently have four weeks.

I can't give that up.  I'm disappointed, but hopeful for something else to come along.  Because I hate my current job.

I leave for vacation three weeks from today.

Super excited.

Working for the Weekend

It's Monday again.  Boo.  Here's synopsis of our weekend.

1.  Friday, not really much to report.  John went to a minor league baseball game, me and the kids played outside for a bit and then watched a movie and went to bed.

2.  Saturday.  PJ got up before Maggie.

3.  When I got Maggie out of her room, PJ held his arms out so he could give her a hug.

4.  I gave PJ some orange juice, and he promptly said "MMM, that's good mama!"

5.  Played outside.

6.  Went to Target and Pete's. 

7.  Ate lunch.  PJ proceeded to share his food with Maggie.  Also jumped up to grab her sippy cup every time she dropped it.

8.  Played outside.  PJ golfed, swam, mowed the lawn, played some baseball.  Maggie chilled in the wagon.

9.  Ordered pizza.  Ate it.

10.  Watched a movie, went to bed.

11.  Sunday.  Went to the zoo with SIL and niece and nephew.

12.  PJ listened beautifully.  Got back in the stroller every time I told him to, so he was allowed to get up and walk freely.  This he loved.

13.  He made sure Mags had her sippy cup.

14.  Said "Bears Mama!"   "Football!" (Yes, I've taught him well).

15.  Behaved while eating lunch.

16.  PJ and Mags passed out on the way home.

17.  I was able to clean the car and do two loads of laundry while they finished their naps.

18. Played outside.  PJ with water table.  Mags crawling around but retreating back to the blanket as soon as she felt the grass.

19.  Made BBQ chicken for dinner.  Damn it was good.

20.  Went to Andy's frozen custard.  PJ doesn't like ice cream.  Who doesn't like ice cream, you say?  HIS MAMA THAT'S WHO. :)

21.  Maggie?  Loves ice cream.

22.  Home for bath time.

23.  Bedtime for Mags, plays in her crib for 20 minutes, passes out.

24.  Put on Shrek for PJ, bed time, passes out in 3 minutes.

25.  Start watching the first half of HP and the Deathly Hallows Part 1.

26.  Must finish tonight since I'm making John take me on a date to see Part 2.
