Cruising along

Poor PJ is sick.  Has a fever since Sunday.  I stayed home with him yesterday, John today.  Hopefully he can go back to the sitter tomorrow, otherwise I'll be staying home with him again.  But he's still his happy self most of the time, so that's good.

I'm feeling okay -- have to go get a third and final beta test.  The first one was so early the HCG was only 105, but then it went up to 1692 just 5 days later.  Since i have to be at least 6 weeks before I can get an ultrasound or the doctor can tell I am pregnant, I am going to get one more on Saturday and then we should have our first appointment and ultrasound.  Unfortunately, this is the u/s where I have to drink all the water and not pee, and it's so hard and painful for me to hold my pee for that long.   But at least the doctor's office is understanding about this and usually tries to get me in right away so I can relieve myself! :)

Anyway, I think I'll be 6 weeks on Thursday.   I am not putting up a ticker or anything till I get the due date from the doctor, because with PJ I was 5 days off, so I'd rather wait till I get the info from the ultrasound.  We told my SIL on Sunday and she was so excited.  She seriously had one of the best reactions ever!!
